Reading the resistance
The ohm rating tells you what the coil is for. Below 1.0 ohm is sub-ohm — low resistance, high power, big vapour, and it pairs with low-strength freebase juice. Above 1.0 ohm is mouth-to-lung — less vapour, tighter draw, and it suits salt nic. Putting a high-strength salt through a sub-ohm coil delivers far more nicotine than intended.
Making them last
Prime a new coil before the first use: wet the wicking ports, fill the tank, and let it sit five minutes so the cotton saturates. Firing a dry wick is what causes that burnt taste on a brand-new coil, and once it is burnt it does not come back. Every price includes the federal excise tax.
