Handle removable cells properly
Never carry a loose cell in a pocket with keys or coins — a short across the terminals is the one genuine hazard in vaping. Use a plastic case. Replace any cell whose wrap is torn rather than taping over it, and replace cells in matched pairs in a dual-battery mod.
When to replace
