About
PAX is a San Francisco vaporizer company (PAX Labs) known for premium, design-led portable dry-herb vaporizers — that is, devices for cannabis flower. If you want a pocket-sized unit with proper temperature control and app connectivity, PAX is close to the top of the category. New to it? Start with the flagship flower series.
The catalogue is deliberately narrow: portable dry-herb vaporizers and cannabis-concentrate devices. That's it — no disposables, no nicotine e-liquid, no pods, mods, or tanks. The flower series runs from the original 2012 PAX through the PAX 3, the compact PAX Mini and PAX Plus (2022), and the newest PAX Flow and PAX Mini 2 (2025). For concentrates, there's the PAX Era and Era Pro oil-pod devices. The company goes back to 2007, founded by Stanford product-design grads James Monsees and Adam Bowen, and has stayed privately held and independent since. Their team also created Juul, which was spun off into a separate company in 2017.
Worth knowing before you order: these are hardware devices. No cannabis or nicotine is included — you're buying the vaporizer and any accessories you add. Order your PAX from Majestic and the price includes federal excise tax. Shipping is free over $100, and GTA orders placed before 2 PM ET ship for same-day delivery. Age-verified 19+, Canada only.
Frequently
What is a PAX vaporizer?
A premium portable vaporizer for dry cannabis flower, made by PAX Labs in San Francisco. A couple of models — the PAX Era and Era Pro — are built for cannabis concentrates instead.
Does PAX make nicotine or disposable vapes?
No. PAX makes portable dry-herb and concentrate vaporizers only — no disposables, nicotine e-liquid, pods, mods, or tanks. For nicotine gear, you'll need a different brand.
Is PAX the same company as Juul?
Not anymore. PAX Labs created Juul, then spun Juul Labs off as its own independent company in 2017. Today they're separate businesses.
What's the difference between the PAX flower series and the PAX Era?
The flower series (PAX 3, Mini, Plus, Flow, Mini 2) vaporizes dry cannabis flower. The PAX Era and Era Pro are pod-based devices for cannabis concentrates. Which one you want comes down to your material — flower or concentrate.
Do PAX vaporizers come with cannabis included?
No. Every PAX is sold as hardware only, with no cannabis or nicotine included. You supply your own material.
